I have written 42,851 crazy words. Much of it takes place on a not-too-distant planet. And right now the story has shifted from 1940s New York City to whatever time it is back on that not-too-distant planet.
Are you following me?
I’m barely following me because I write in bits and pieces here and there and I only had one idea for the story when I started writing. And that “thing” has just been revealed.
So now I’m backtracking. Writing one main character’s origin story. He can transform into a bear. He’s used his magic superpowers to rescue himself, his brother, and a whole bunch of other children from pirates. He sends them to places and times where they’ve never existed so that their timelines are clear. And it’s remarkable for him to have to have done this.
Why? Because he’s only 7 years old.
That’s all I’ll say for now.
Thank you for reading.
I'm in awe of Eri and everybody else who does NANOWRIMO. I'm staying tuned to find out what happens to the seven-year-old hero. I sure hope he solves the world's problems before November 30.
