That picture of my son…ooops! It was taken by Scott Emmons. I only mentioned Cathy and Anna on the trip to Hanging Lake, but Scott Emmons, my husband and Oscar’s dad was there too. In fact he arranged the trip! I didn’t go because I had sprained my ankle about a month earlier. I had it in my mind that Scott didn’t go because of some other thing.
Umm, I could have asked him. We live in the same house!
But I was wrong and I’m glad we can laugh about this. You are laughing, right?
Here’s a little scene from the ever-funny Fawlty Towers, with John Cleese and Prunella Scales.
Don’t miss anything from Z Words, apologies as well as other content!
Erika, thanks for clueing me in on this. I'm going to enjoy following your journey. I might even be tagging along, as a fellow retiree trying to make a go of writing. My foster sister's younger son in on the autism spectrum. I have also known a couple of young men on the autism spectrum who graduated from college. I look forward to learning from Oscar too.
I try to do my work in 20 minute bites just because I don't do well in any position for a long period of time, and if I sit too long I fall asleep! 20 minutes writing, then walk up a flight of stairs, touch my toes, or get a drink. Then another 20 minutes. Keep up the good work.
